The final rundown for this year’s rescheduled and completely virtual NewFronts, kicking off on Monday, is here.

Organizing body the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) says that 8,500 media buyers have pre-registered to attend the online video-focused marketplace, which is slated from June 22 to 26 and comprises a total of 30 presentations.

“COVID-19 has accelerated the change in the marketplace and is unleashing the future of video today,” IAB president David Cohen said in a statement. “We are all relying on digital media and virtual experiences to keep us engaged and connected in this new reality, further emphasizing the need for NewFronts to discuss the rise of OTT viewing among consumers.”

In addition to the flagship publisher and platform presentations, from the likes of YouTube, TikTokFacebook, and Snap, newly-tooled breakout sessions will hone in on overarching topics like esports (featuring execs from The Hershey Company, Twitch, FaZe Clan, and Activision Blizzard) and news (with execs from BBC, NPR, and Vice).

This year’s event will also comprise a mix of both live and prerecorded presentations, and will tackle the pandemic’s impact across the greater media landscape. The first-ever virtual NewFronts will also feature a variety of formats, including 40-minute content presentations, five to 20-minute insights sessions, executive interviews, panels, and surprises. Each day will kick off with a comedic preview event headlined by former HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky, and conclude with a round-up session dubbed That’s A Wrap.
