We still know virtually nothing about Disney’s incoming streaming service, but it’s on the horizon, and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans will start to see the impact beginning with Captain Marvel, which will release in theaters March 8, 2019, and will be the first MCU film released for streaming on Disney’s site rather than Netflix, according to a report from The New York Times.

Peloton Raises $550 Million As It Builds “A Media Company Akin To Netflix,” Says CEO
Spin cycling and media streaming company Peloton is on the road to becoming “the Netflix of fitness,” according to an investor who bought in at the company’s latest funding round, which caps at $550 million, CNBC reported. Peloton sells indoor spinning bikes with a large, built-in screen meant to stream the company’s home-cooked live and recorded content, which is filmed in New York City with a stable of in-house instructors and broadcast globally to spinners. John Foley, Peloton’s CEO and cofounder, told CNBC, “We stream 24 hours of live television content around the world every day. We have 10,000 classes on demand. It is a media company akin to a Netflix.”
