Apple, Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify have all in the past 24 hours removed content created by Alex Jones and his site Infowars from their platforms, citing violations of hate speech policies. Jones, a conspiracy theorist who has alleged that the massacres at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, and Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, were faked by the government and did not involve any real deaths, has received multiple strikes from YouTube this year, the most recent for hate speech and child endangerment.
