Ninja, Jacksepticeye, Cody Ko, Rhett & Link To Headline Inaugural Metarama Gaming + Music Festival

An inaugural event dubbed the Metarama Gaming + Music Festival will feature some of the biggest names in online media.

The Las Vegas event, slated for Oct. 19 and 20, will feature appearances from Twitch luminary Ninja, YouTube vet Jacksepticeye, Nick Eh 30, charitable gamer Dr Lupo, violinist Lindsey Stirling, Pokimane, recently-appointed FaZe Clan member Nick Mercs, Good Mythical Morning co-hosts Rhett & Link, Tiny Meat Gang‘s Cody Ko and Noel Miller100 Thieves‘ Valkyrae, and more. The digital-native slate will be complemented by music megastars like Marshmello, Snoop Dogg, and Imagine Dragons (who will be making a gaming appearance only).

The festival will comprise two interchanging outdoor stages at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, complete with live music, gaming, esports, and comedy, Billboard reports, and will seek to capitalize on the overlap between gaming and music. (Ninja, for his part, released an EDM compilation album last year, and also won Epic Gamesfirst-ever Fortnite

Pro-Am tournament alongside DJ Marshmello last June).

The festival is being produced by C3 Presents — which is behind Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits — in partnership with Esports Hospitality Concepts. C3 co-founder Charlie Walker likened the event to “Lollapalooza but with music and video gaming as the centerpieces,” per Billboard.

On the main stage of Metarama, a celebrity Pro-Am tournament will take place, whereby top musicians and gamers will duke it out on a number of popular titles. There will also be professional esports gameplay, a Streamer Zone where fans can play with their favorite stars, and a LAN Center featuring daylong amateur tournaments. Finally, the Free Play zone will feature amateur esports car racing, a vintage arcade, tabletop gaming, and VR experiences.

Tickets for Metarama are on sale now, beginning at $150 for two-day general admission.
