Ryan’s World is a lot bigger than one kid. Pocket.watch is putting the brand’s superhero in the spotlight.

For the second time, Ryan’s World has struck a deal with Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. This time, however, the family brand’s namesake won’t be the face of the partnership. Instead, Ryan’s World is bringing its Red Titan character to the kids’ meals offered at both of those restaurants.

The agreement will introduce games and puzzles inspired by the animated superhero who appears in Ryan’s World videos. Visitors to the partnering chain (which is known as Hardee’s in the eastern U.S. and Carl’s Jr. out west) will have the chance to collect four different playable items, each of which features characters from the so-called Titan Universe. As of June 14, the promotion is active at 3,800 Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. locations worldwide.

The deal was orchestrated by pocket.watch, the family-friendly media company that has been linked with Ryan’s World since 2017. The campaign is being promoted on the main Ryan’s World YouTube channel, where 11-year-old Ryan and his twin sisters Emma and Kate took the kids’ meal toys for a test drive.

“We’re thrilled to expand Ryan’s World Titan Universe with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s StarPals Kids Meals,” said pocket.watch SVP of

Marketing and Franchise Amanda Klecker in a statement. “We specialize in partnering with brands to create customized marketing activations with our diverse roster of kids and family creators, and know our fans will be feasting on this incredible extension of the Titan Universe animated series, publishing, and toys across retail globally.”

The last time Ryan’s World showed up at Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. locations was in 2019, when the fast food chain relaunched its kids’ meals. Notably, that partnership centered around Ryan himself, not the Red Titan.

But times have changed. Ryan is getting older, and though he still appears regularly across the network that bears his name, pocket.watch is pushing Red Titan in order to associate Ryan’s World with an evergreen cast of characters. As part of that initiative, the masked superhero has received his own float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and his own shoe line.

The Red Titan puzzles and games will be available at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s until August 8. They can be found in the StarPals meals, which include kid-approved items like burgers, fries, and chicken tenders.
