DIY creator Moriah Elizabeth is bringing a line of plush toys to Walmart

Moriah Elizabeth is rolling out another product inspired by her crafty YouTube videos. The DIY creator has joined forces with Bonkers Toys to debut a line of plushies at Walmart.

Elizabeth, who counts 9.5 million subscribers on her primary YouTube channel, is known for her “makeover” videos, in which she redesigns toys and gives them fresh color schemes. Those clips typically feature “ugly, used, old, dirty, cheap, or unwanted” squishy toys, which are donated by Elizabeth’s fans. Each squishy makeover takes hours of hard work, but the resulting videos post seven-digit view counts.

With her new product line, Elizabeth is bringing more plushies into the world — but these ones won’t be as scruffy as the toys she remodels on her channel. Her team-up with Bonkers Toys has produced the Moriah Elizabeth 6″ Mystery Plush Series 1, which comes concealed in blind packaging. Buyers won’t know which plushie they’ve received until they open the box. Some of the designs are inspired by characters Elizabeth has created, such as Pickle, Georgie, and Cousin Derp.

The plushies are available now at Walmart stores across the nation. “I am thrilled to partner with Bonkers,” Elizabeth said in a statement. “The leap into retail is a huge step. It’s so exciting that people can now take my characters right off the shelf and home with them. This is a whole new way for me to share my creativity, and hopefully bring a little more joy into the world.”

Bonkers Toys is no stranger to the world of creator products. Last year, it partnered with TikToker Addison Rae for a line of dolls that are also sold through Walmart.

Elizabeth, like Addison Rae, has built a commercial empire on the back of her popular channel. Since signing with Night Media, the DIYer has launched several off-YouTube ventures, including a custom Rubik’s Cube and a nail polish brand.

Bonkers Toys plans to continue working alongside Elizabeth. In the fall of 2024, the partnership between those two parties will produce an expanded product line that will include full-sized plush toys, collectible figures, and giant mystery eggs.
