YouTube’s De Facto Skin Care Guru, Hyram Yarbro, Signs With UTA (Exclusive)

One of YouTube’s de facto skin care experts, 24-year-old Hyram Yarbro, has signed with talent agency UTA for representation in all areas.

UTA tells Tubefilter that it will work with Yarbro to expand his beauty and lifestyle content — which also touches on environmental sustainability — to reach new audiences. On his channel, which counts 3.8 million subscribers and roughly 25 million monthly views, Yarbro typically shares brand reviews, affordable product recommendations, celebrity skin care routine critiques, tutorials, and reactions to his followers’ skin transformations, while also touching on the environmental impact of different ingredients.

Across all platforms — including a TikTok channel launched amid the coronavirus pandemic — Yarbro counts 11 million followers. UTA also notes that Yarbro’s endorsements can serve as a boon to brands, tripling web sales for makeupKosas

within a 48-hour period of mentioning it in a July TikTok.

“Hyram’s goal is to educate viewers about skincare through a lens of positivity and social responsibility,” Ali Berman, UTA partner and head of its digital talent department, said in a statement. “His in-depth knowledge about sustainable ingredients and unparalleled sense of authenticity have resonated with a widespread and quickly expanding fanbase, and we are looking forward to helping him further grow his platform.”

Hyram is also nominated in the ‘Beauty’ category at this year’s Streamy Awards, which are produced by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter.

In addition to UTA, Yarbro is repped by attorneys HJTH.
