Charli D’Amelio To Release Autobiographical Advice Book, ‘Essentially Charli’

TikTok’s biggest star is about to become a published author.

Sixteen-year-old Charli D’Amelio, who was the first TikTok creator to surpass 50 million followers and has currently racked up 80 million, has announced her debut autobiographical and advice tome Essentially Charli. The book’s subtitle is ‘The Ultimate Guide To Keeping It Real’, and will hit shelves on Dec. 1.

On Instagram, D’Amelio explained that the book will provide advice about how to stay positive and navigate social media — complete with a bonus sticker sheet, trivia questions, exclusive photos, and writing prompts. The book will also include intimate details about D’Amelio’s life to date, including her experiences with cyberbullying and her relationship with her family. Mom Heidi (1.7 million followers), dad Marc

(6.7 million) and sister Dixie (35 million) are all TikTok stars, and the family reportedly has a reality series in the works.

Published by Abrams imprint Amulet Books — which also published Miles McKenna‘s coming-out survival guide, Out!, in May — Essentially Charli is currently available for preorder, priced at $19.

D’Amelio’s book is the latest in a string of business ventures — many involving her older sister, Dixie. Both sisters were named brand amabassadors for the just-launched, Gen Z-focused makeup brand Morphe 2 in July, and are also set to debut a podcast with Ramble this summer.
