Liza Koshy Fetes Three-Year YouTube Anniversary At 15 Million Subscriber Mark

Liza Koshy has been on YouTube for a breezy three years — merely a blip as far as some creator careers go. And in short order, the 22-year-old has soared to untold heights.

While Koshy has not posted a video to her flagship channel since February (her YouTube Premium series, Liza On Demand, is currently rolling out instead of homespun content), Koshy took to Instagram to commemorate her three-year YouTube anniversary.

“I can’t even begin to tell you (…begins to tell you) how exciting, nerve-wrecking, and inspiring it has been to step out of my comfort zone, and create in this way,” Koshy captioned a photo featuring her Liza On Demand co-stars Travis Coles and Kimiko Glenn. “July 8 marks my third year on YouTube. It would be insane of me to not blame God for the abundance of blessings and opportunities I’ve experienced since this journey began. But, I also blame you. It’s your fault for encouraging me, inspiring me and motivating me to become the very best me I can be.”

“Thank you from the bottom and entirety of my heart,” she concluded. “Happy three year anniversary, to us.”

In addition to Liza On Demand — whose pilot has garnered roughly 8.3 million views to date — Koshy is hosting a Double Dare reboot on Nickelodeon. And while it took Koshy two years to amass 10 million YouTube’s subscribers, she’s currently standing tall at 15 million subscribers — meaning that the entertainer gained a staggering 5 million subscribers on average every year.
