Days After Launching Hair Extension Line, Niki And Gabi Announce Wet Seal Fashion Collab

In the vast sea of product collaborations between brands and YouTube stars, twin lifestyle creator duo Niki and Gabi DeMartino are clearly in hot demand.

One day after launching their own line of extensions with hair care brand Bellami, the sisters have unveiled a pact with California-based teen fashion retailer Wet Seal. Long a staple of shopping malls, Wet Seal shuttered all of its retail storefronts in 2017 and now vends its fashions exclusively online — making the brand a fitting partner for Niki and Gabi, who count 6.6 million subscribers on their flagship YouTube channel and 1.3 million and 1.8 million subscribers on their individual vlog channels, respectively. The limited edition clothing collection drops on June 4.

“These twin YouTube stars are famous for their signature ‘opposite twin’ looks and viral fashion, lifestyle, and beauty videos,” per Wet Seal, “but they’ve never had their own collection until now.” While Niki is frequently bedecked in a sporty, hipster look, for instance, Gabi favors pieces that are frilly and vintage-inspired. No items from the collection have been revealed just yet, though a teaser image suggests that cat ears and glittery short suits may be in play.

The sisters’ collection of hair extensions with Bellami, on the other hand, dropped yesterday. Available in 13 different shades, the extensions range in price from $190 to $250 depending on their length.

Beyond their product launches in the fashion and beauty spaces, the 23-year-olds have successfully forayed into both music and acting. Their most recent single, “RU,” has more than 1 million streams on Spotify, and serves as a prelude to their forthcoming EP. In addition to appearing in several unscripted series for AwesomenessTV, Niki appeared in season two of Hulu‘s Freakishwhile Gabi wrote, produced, and starred in an indie series for her vlog channel titled Blood Queens.
