Dave Days, Big Frame Make Collabs With YouTube Musicians, Music Producers

If you say “Writing Room” in Hollywood, you’re usually referring to a caffeinated workspace comprised at least 80% of Ivy League-educated Jews who are crunching jokes and/or plotlines against a deadline with the aim to please a showrunner or Kevin Pollak-like host and the general public. But if you say “Writing Room” around YouTube music sensation Dave Days and his multi-channel network Big Frame, it means something entirely different.

The online video artist with 1.5+ million subscribers is pairing up burgeoning YouTube musicians with established music industry producers to write, record, and release original songs from inside the tech-savvy confines of the recently opened YouTube Space LA. The finished products will then be released in the form of music videos on the Bad Planet

YouTube channel (a collaboration between Days and Big Frame), tracks to be purchased for $0.99 on Google Play, Amazon, and Topspin, and a Writing Room album featuring all 10 songs for $8.99 at the conclusion of the season.

Alex G (who has a YouTube presence of 515,000+ subscribers and 71+ million views) stars  in the first of 10 weekly episodes, where she confronts her slight fears of singing in front of live audiences and works with Nick Bailey and Ryan Ogren (who have worked with a laundry list of musicians that may or may not include Sting) to conceive of and birth the track Inside Out.
