‘Mission Impossible,’ ‘Smallville’ Actors Headline Cast of ‘Halo’ Web Series

Halo and action-sci-fi-adventure genre fans rejoice! The cast of the much-hyped (and possibly paradigm shifting) live action web series, Halo: Forward Unto Dawn has been announced. And the individuals set to play characters in the five 15-minute installments of the famed video game’s online video have some high quality pedigrees.

From Smallville to Mission Impossible, these actors appeared constantly on traditional entertainment mediums. The lead roles belong to Tom Green (who will play Thomas Lasky) and Daniel Cudmore (who will embody Master Chief). Although Green isn’t yet a household name (at least not in the US), Cudmore is well known for his roles in X-Men and three of the Twilight installments.

Aside from the leads, you’ll probably recognize Anna Popplewell (as Chyler Silva), who played Susan Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia, Ayelet Zurer (who will play Mehaffey

) for her roles in Angels and Demons, Vantage Point and the upcoming Man of Steel (out in 2013) and Mike Dopud (as Thomas Lasky), known for his roles in Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Stargate Universe, Smalleville and Supernatural. Other known actors include Enisha Brewster (Footloose) and Masam Holden (Greys Anatomy).
