Snapple, NBC Look for ‘Talent’ on YouTube

Howard Stern isn’t the only addition to America’s Got Talent in 2012. Snapple accompanies the King of All Media in joining NBC’s hit reality television series. (Why Snapple? Because the show and the beverage company each, in their own way, search for the best stuff on earth.) And the both of them join the AGT team comprised of judges Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, host Nick Canon, and, of course, YouTube.

For its third year and running, the world’s largest online video sharing site is partnering up with AGT to find a handful of individuals of any age with mad skills of any variety who want an opportunity to showcase their wares to America by way of broadcast TV (and who also wouldn’t mind a shot at fame and $1 million in fortune).

It’s way past the deadline to audition to audition to for AGT in person, but interested persons still have this one last chance to be on the show by submitting a compelling video of doing whatever it is he or she can do well to the America’s Got Talent

Snapple-sponsored YouTube channel.

Here’s Cannon with some details and inspiration:

Compelled parties have from today until June 1 to submit their audition videos to YouTube. A judging body will then review all the submissions and select its 20 favorites to feature online. YouTubers will then vote on their favorite of the judge’s 20 favorites between June 25 and July 7. The talent with the most votes will be automagically advanced to the quarterfinals of the official America’s Got Talent competition, and have an opportunity to do that thing he or she does so well on live TV in front of Osbourne, Mandel, and Stern.

Visit youtube.com/agt for all the rules and regulations and good luck.
