After paying out $32 million to creators, Fanfix hires Twitch, Red Bull vet as Chief Marketing Officer

Fanfix‘s new Chief Marketing Officer is a well-traveled exec whose work experience includes gigs at innovative media companies. Loren Piretra, a veteran of Twitch, Red Bull, Playboy, and the NFL, will look to supercharge creator revenue as Fanfix’s CMO.

In her new role, Piretra will look to stimulate further growth for a company that has already paid out $32 million to its creator community. Fanfix, founded by Harry Gestetner and Simon Pompan during their college years, claims to have pulled in more than $40 million in total revenue. Pirertra will work alongside the rest of the Fanfix exec team on global marketing campaigns, media strategies, brand positioning, and creator engagement initiatives.

“We are thrilled to welcome Loren Piretra as Fanfix’s Chief Marketing Officer,” Gestetner said in a statement. “Her unparalleled expertise and track record in pioneering strategies align perfectly with our mission to optimize creator-fan relationships through our Gen Z-focused clean content platform.”

Prior to joining Fanfix, Piretra worked at Playboy, where she helped build the OnlyFans competitor Centerfold. Before that, she held roles related to influencer marketing at Twitch, Red Bull, and the NFL. A press release from Fanfix notes that Piretra was the first hire in the influencer/creator verticals at all of her previous stops.

In an interview with Forbes, Piretra said that “the inventive and resourceful nature of social-centric creators” drew her to Fanfix. The monetization hub has steadily expanded its fan funding platform, which now includes link-in-bio services among its features.

Piretra sees Fanfix as a versatile platform capable of empowering its users. “We provide creators tangible opportunities to help them monetize their content with access to real-time earnings, which in turn, can be life-transforming,” she told Forbes. “There are many inspiring stories of Fanfix creators’ earnings enabling them to pay off debts, gain access to higher education, support their families, purchase homes, and more.”

As Fanfix’s new CMO, Piretra can help write more of those inspirational stories. Additional details about Fanfix’s monetization options can be found through its website.
