TikTok makeup artist Mikayla Nogueira talks authenticity in first episode of Digital Brand Architects podcast

There’s a podcasting boom happening in the online video industry, and Digital Brand Architects (DBA) is part of it. The UTA-owned talent management firm, which works with digital-native clients, has launched a podcast called Who’s On Content?! that will feature interviews with impactful people across the creator economy.

Who’s On Content?! is hosted by Ernest “E.J.” James, who joined DBA last year as its SVP of Special Projects. In each episode of the podcast, James will chat with someone who is influencing the digital media industry with their innovative approach to content. According to the show’s trailer, its guests will include “social media platform leaders, marketers, journalists, and content creators contributing to the content shaping the global society we live in.”

The first guest on Who’s On Content?! is one of those content creators, and she just so happens to be a DBA client. Makeup artist and self-proclaimed

“Masshole” Mikayla Nogueira signed with the talent management unit last year, a few months before TikTok named her as one of the “Innovators” in its inaugural Discover list. Nogueira has been praised for her “refreshingly real approach” to TikTok, so it’s no surprise that she and James discussed the subject of authenticity in their Who’s On Content?! chit-chat.

Future Who’s On Content?! guests will include Chriselle Lim, Marianna Hewitt, Mikayla Nogueira, Damon Jones, and Jesse Sullivan. If you want to listen in on these conversions, or if you just want to support a show that is bold enough to use an interrobang in its title, Apple Podcasts is the place to go.
