Burger King is going the way of McDonald’s, creating limited-edition meals curated by celebrities — with TikTok phenom Chase ‘Lil Huddy’ Hudson being tapped as one of its inaugural participants.
A total of three so-called Keep It Real Meals bow on Sunday, and serve to fete the fact that Burger King has banned 120 artificial ingredients from its menu, according to the company, including colors, flavors, and preservatives from artificial sources.
In addition to Hudson, the other Burger King meals have been curated by rapper Nelly and Brazilian singer Anitta. McDonald’s, meanwhile, has collaborated with Saweetie, J Balvin, Travis Scott, and BTS.
Hudson’s meal comprises a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese, mozzarella sticks, and a chocolate shake. Guests can purchase any of the celebrity meals for $6, per Burger King, when they sign up for its just-launched Royal Perks rewards program,
Hudson, who counts 32.1 million followers on TikTok, is pursuing a music career with Immersive Records, with his debut album Teenage Heartbreak set to drop on Sept. 17. The 19-year-old also just unveiled a nail sticker collection in collaboration with beauty upstart Glamnetic.
