Hype House TikToker Kelianne Stankus Signs With UTA (Exclusive)

UTA has signed former gymnastics pro and current TikTok star Kelianne Stankus for worldwide representation in all areas.

Stankus, who’s 24, first rose to renown as part of USA Gymnastics’ Acrobatics team. She won a gold medal at the 2005 Freedom Cup, and competed in the 2011 National Championships and 2012 World Championships. Then, in 2015, she and her performance group The Acrobots snagged a spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for their dizzying hoverboard dance routine.

Now, Stankus is perhaps best known for her presence on TikTok, where she frequently collaborates with fellow Hype House members on dance and lifestyle content. She’s amassed 7 million followers on the platform, plus 1.1 million on Instagram and 128K on YouTube.

The announcement comes just a couple of weeks after Stankus became the face of fashion retailer Boohoo‘s newest ad campaign. She created a TikTok dance for the marketing sweep, and the associated hashtag, #itsfromboohoo, has netted more than 100 million views. UTA brokered that deal, it tells Tubefilter.

“This past year has been absolutely crazy, and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything,” Stankus tells Tubefilter. “I’m so excited to start my journey with UTA and can’t wait to see what we can do together!”

UTA says it plans to help Stankus expand her digital platform and break into traditional acting.

Stankus will continue to be managed by Angelyna Martinez-Boyd at Scope Entertainment.
