DIY Duo ‘The Sorry Girls’ Launch Charitable Collab, Culling Quarantine Tips From Top YouTubers

DIY YouTube duo The Sorry Girls, comprising Kelsey MacDermaid and Becky Wright — whose room makeover and life hack videos have amassed 1.9 million subscribers — are launching an ambitious project to help keep viewers busy during quarantine.

The collab video, dubbed 100 Things To Do During Quarantine, will see the ladies culling tips from fellow YouTube luminaries about how to cope with isolation, as well as a slew of productivity hacks. Joining The Sorry Girls in the video are Elle MillsMolly Burke, Jay Shetty, ASAP Science, Jack Howard, Karlie Kloss, Gabbie Hanna, and more.

Some of the tips shared include: playing online games with friends, hosting happy hours over video chat, talking to chatbot therapy app Woebot, taking a Masterclass to learn a new skill, planting plants, organizing photos, writing songs, making post-quarantine lists, and more.

The Sorry Girls’ video, which is part of YouTube’s pro-social distancing #WithMe campaign, will also tout a charitable component, supporting an ongoing fundraiser for the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. In addition to driving funds with a ‘Donate Now’ section next to the video, YouTube and Google.org have committed to matching $2 for every $1 raised — up to $5 million — to help: patients get care, frontline workers get essential supplies, and accelerate efforts toward vaccines, tests, and treatments.
