Former Big Frame Exec Launches Talent Management Firm Repping Meg DeAngelis, Ricky Dillon

Seasoned digital talent manager Colette Patnaude has branched out from her gig at AwesomenessTV-owned Big Frame to launch her own company dubbed Expand Entertainment (EXE). Co-founded by the writer/producer Eddie Wintle, the firm will offer both talent management and creative development services, according to a release.

And several of Patnaude’s bold-faced clients will be joining her at the new venture, including lifestyle creators Meg DeAngelis, Jill Cimorelli, and Remi Cruz, as well as vlogger Ricky Dillon and the artist Mary Gutfleish.

“I am excited to continue managing talent, and will offer all of our clients new ways to expand their careers,” Patnaude, who began her career at WME and has served as a talent manager at Big Frame for the past three years, said in a statement. “Our mission is to become a forward-thinking community of creators with real vision in this emerging industry.”

To this end, in addition to management, Los Angeles-based Expand will also seek to develop original content for its roster. Wintle, who formerly worked in talent at ICM

and who has also worked in feature film development for Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald — the former producing partners of Steven Spielberg at DreamWorks — will head up Expand’s creative operations. The company is launching with a slate of roughly twenty projects in development — both scripted and unscripted works of varying lengths. Additionally, Expand will partner with other companies to develop outside projects, according to Patnaude and Wintle.

“I’ve had the great experiences of working and writing with some of the most talented people in both traditional entertainment and now digital entertainment,” Wintle said in a statement, “and I’m thrilled to be able to continue bringing smarter content to this space as it grows.”
