MTV Food Show To Star YouTubers Brothers Green Eats

MTV International is working on a hip new food series starring some of YouTube’s top culinary talent. MTV’s global channel will debut the millenial-focused Brothers Green: EATS! hosted by YouTubers and real-life brothers Josh and Mike Greenfield of the Brothers Green Eats channel.

The Brothers Green (who boast 93,000 YouTube subscribers) are known for their easy, uncomplicated approach to cooking, which is the same style the MTV show will use. Bruce Gillmer, EVP of talent, music programming, and events at MTV parent company Viacom International Media Networks, said in a release reported by StreamDaily that Brothers Green: EATS! will be “our answer to the traditional cooking show, MTV-style.” The internationally-focused show will also bring on special guest appearances.

Produced by Storyville Entertainment, the 12 30-minute episodes of Brothers Green: EATS! will be distributed across MTV’s international linear channels, as well as on various MTV digital verticals. Storyville’s Betsy Schechter

and Caroline Christopher will executive produce alongside MTV International’s Gillmer and Elyse Zaccaro.

“Mike and Josh are a unique duo – they’re super passionate, highly creative and custom-made for the MTV audience,” Gillmer explained. “They’re resourceful, ‘make something outta nothing’ kind of guys. And our viewers are going to love them.”

“It’s been one heck of a time working with MTV,” Mike Greenfield commented. “We’re so freaking excited to share what we’ve been creating in our kitchen – we’ve been gathering inspiration from around the world to create meals that are absurdly delicious and incredibly easy to make.”

No release date has been announced for Brothers Green: EATS! as of yet. However, MTV did note the show will air sometime this spring.
