Pixability’s New Product Lets Marketers Program YouTube Ad Campaigns

Pixability has responded to the trend of rising digital video ad budgets. The YouTube software marketing company has announced Pixability v3, which the company calls “the industry’s first programmatic YouTube TrueView optimization platform for media professionals and the brands they serve.”

The new product allows its users to create, track, and manage large-scale ad campaigns across YouTube. As with Pixability’s  previous products, v3 makes use of a massive trove of historical data in order to inform advertisers about the most optimal decisions on where, how, and when to launch their respective campaigns. In more clear terms, Pixability’s new software can tell brand marketers on what types of YouTube videos or channels they should advertise, in what form those advertisements should take (whether that’s TrueView ads, banner displays, pre-rolls, lower-thirds, or a combination of a variety of ad types), and at what time (in terms of time of day and time of year, taking into account seasonal trends and searches) they should launch the campaigns in order to get the best return on their investments. The new version automates the TrueView advertising process by comparing campaigns to industry benchmarks and adjusts the campaigns accordingly.

In addition to that offering, Pixability v3 also gives its users the opportunity to find relevant and influential YouTube channels that fit their campaigns.

For even more analysis, the platform also drills down into specific creators, where Pixability’s data provides an in-depth breakdown.

“Brands are increasing their digital allocations, and TV budgets are shifting to online video faster than our industry predicted. YouTube is leading the charge,” said Bettina Hein, Founder and CEO of Pixability, in a release. “Many brands are wasting their media dollars on inefficient, poorly targeted buys; Pixability v3 comes at a crucial time. YouTube advertising done right introduces a huge business opportunity for brands and their agencies.”

Beyond its new platform, Pixability is rolling out a YouTube Media Guidebook, which educates marketers on the various types of YouTube advertising available to them. It also discusses the software tools that can help brands run their digital video campaigns; as you might expect, Pixability’s own offerings lead the way.
