One of the big online video trends of the past year has been the rise of third-party services that link influential online video personalities to brands that wish to find the right audience for their products. A Wednesday morning panel at Social Media Week Los Angeles will discuss this process through a discussion between three panelists.
The first panelist is Michael Bienstock, the COO of Mozaic Branding. Mozaic, along with other companies like Niche and FameBit, is one of the new services that connects brands to creators. Bienstock himself has a reputation as a deal maker; he played a crucial role in the negotiations that brought Philip Defranco’s creative portfolio under the Discovery network.
The other two panelists also have direct roles in the creation of branded content. Liz Teschler, who manages the Smosh brand at Defy Media, will be able to speak from a network’s point of view, while Austin Null, who worked as a social media strategist for Fullscreen before becoming one-half of The Nive Nulls, will bring a creator’s perspective to the panel.
The “Audience Is Power” event begins Wednesday, September 24th at 11 AM at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. If you’re interested in attending, you can get a ticket for Social Media Week Los Angeles here. Use the code TF20 for 20% off. You can also check out the full schedule of SMWLA events here.
