‘Course of the Force’ Hosts Announced, Seth Green Joins Web Series

As Comic-Con approaches, so does Nerdist‘s Course of the Force. The Star Wars-themed charity run to San Diego will kick off in a few weeks, and Nerdist has announced the hosts and correspondents who will follow the event down the Pacific Coast.

Tradition media personalities such as Carrie Keagan and Ashley Eckstein will be joined by several familiar new media faces, including Shira Lazar, Jessica Chobot, Alex Albrecht

, Alison Haislip, and, of course, the Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick. All of these contributors cater to the nerd crowd in some way. Keagan has been a guest host on Attack of the Show in the past, Eckstein voiced Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Chobot hosts several shows for IGN, Haislip and Albrecht co-hosted 4 Points on the Nerdist channel, and Lazar has interviewed tons of nerdy YouTubers. As for Hardwick, we know for a fact he’s as good of a host as anyone.

Meanwhile, the Course of the Force web series continues its run on Nerdist. The second of six episodes was just released, and it features an abundance of guest stars, including Seth Green, Kumail Nanjiani, and Kyle Kinane (all of whom have had their own web series at some point in the past). After a first episode featuring R2D2, this one mainly riffs off the iconic Mos Eisley cantina.

With such a constant influx of notable performers and personalities, Nerdist is pulling out all the stops to make sure this year’s Course of the Force tops last year’s. Indeed, the Force is strong in this one.
