Last year Hulu, AOL, Microsoft Advertising, Digitas, Yahoo!, and Google/YouTube joined forces to chart new territory in media through the Digital Content NewFronts.
The Digital Content NewFronts were launched to create a marketplace to showcase and sell high-value original video content and adjacent advertising opportunities in digital media. Organized similarly to television industry upfront marketplaces, the weeklong series of presentations from digital content powerhouses promises to entice marketing and ad agency executives to view the latest opportunities available for brands to expand their consumer reach on digital platforms.
Last year, the event helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars of ad money for the online video industry. This year, 2013 DCNF is expected to raise more than one billion dollars in advertising deals.
Tubefilter will once again provide the most complete, in-depth coverage of the Digital ContentNewFronts. Each morning we will post a schedule of both official and unofficial events, presentations, and parties at DCNF.
