YouTube Having “Office Hours” To Discuss Partner Program, AdSense

YouTube is ripping a page out of the average college professor’s book and offering some office hours to its potential creators. The session will take place tonight via Google Hangout and will kick off at 8 EST/5 PST.

Instead of discussing questions from class and going over answers from the last exam, YouTube will educate virtual attendees on the Partner program and  the AdSense-powered monetization that goes along with it.

The hangout will be part of the Hangout On Air series run by Help Desk Hangouts, a group dedicated to answering questions about various Google products. Among other topics, their last hangout discussed alternative to Google Reader. Personally, I’d prefer to spend my time begging Google not to take away Google Reader. You can catch tonight’s session on HDH’s YouTube channel

and Google+ page.

If you have questions about either of those topics, feel free to submit it as a discussion topic by tweeting @YTCreators and using the #YTAdSenseHOA hashtag. If you’re not into all that Tweeting business, you can submit your query by completing a form here or posting it to Google+ here. Go forth and submit your AdSense questions! Ray William Johnson would advise against surrendering your AdSense account to a major network, but he’s just one voice. Tonight, you can hear plenty of others.
