Fans Flock for Michael Buckley’s Leap Year Panel at VidCon, Get Sneak Peek at Joshua Malina Episode [VIDEO]

What the Buck? star Michael Buckley led the Web Series Spotlight panel featuring Leap Year this afternoon at VidCon, where series creators and cast members talked shop about the series’ renewal for a second season on Hulu.

Fans as far away as Thailand flocked to see Wilson Cleveland (Derek), Yuri Baranovsky (Aaron), Daniela DiIorio (Olivia) discuss the pros and cons of working with brands, how they utilize social media to engage with fans, and how they were able to parlay the first season’s success to secure high-caliber guest stars like Eliza Dushku, Joshua Malina, Steven Weber, and Craig Bierko for Season 2.

Tubefilter got an exclusive sneak preview of the next all-new episode of the Silicon Valley dramedy, which premieres this Monday with special guest star Joshua Malina:

The Leap Year trailer premiered at Mashable Connect earlier this year before the second season debuted on Hulu and YouTube on June 18. The series is backed by Hiscox Small Business Insurance.

During the Q&A, Cleveland gave away a new Roku HD and a six-month subscription for HuluPlus to one lucky attendee.
