VidCon 2023 agenda includes talks on “Digital’s Next Era,” custom tees, and a “Night of Impact”

The flagship version of VidCon will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on June 21, 2023. It will be the second-straight in-person edition of VidCon Anaheim after two years of COVID-related setbacks, and online video bigwigs will flock to Orange County to join the festivities. The full list of speakers who will participate in the convention includes execs from top platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and Snap.

As per usual, the VidCon experience will be split across Industry, Creator, and Community tracks, each of which caters to its titular group. Based on the latest batch of confirmed guests, here’s what attendees can expect across all three tracks:

Industry Track

After TikTok served as the title sponsor for the 2022 edition of VidCon Anaheim, YouTube has reclaimed that distinction heading into 2023. The Google-owned platform will have a major presence on the Industry Track. Its Vice President of Product Management, Amjad Hanif, will deliver the Industry Track keynote. YouTube Gaming head Leo Olebe will speak at his first VidCon since assuming his current position, and Senior Director of Discovery & Growth Todd Beaupré will return to VidCon after joining Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast) for a well-attended panel last year.

Donaldson isn’t on the list of confirmed Industry Track speakers, but MrBeast, LLC President Marc Hustvedt is. (Hustvedt is also a Co-Founder of Tubefilter.) Other companies represented on the Industry Track will include upstarts like Famous Birthdays, Kajabi, Creative Juice, and SickBird, as well as leading platforms like Snap, TikTok, and Twitch. Former VidCon GM and SVP Jim Louderback will also return to the convention in his new capacity as a creator economy analyst.

Community Track

As industry experts recuse themselves from the hustle and bustle of the convention floor, fans will hit the main stages to catch glimpses of their favorite creators. The Community Track is always full of meet-and-greets, discussions, brand activations

, and variety shows, and the 2023 schedule will add one more performance: The Night of Impact.

As its name implies, the Night of Impact is an evening show centered around social good and sustainability. Creators like Sofie DossiKreekCraft, and The Beverly Halls will celebrate community and our planet as they use their talents to entertain Community Track pass holders.

“The Community Track will connect fans with their favorite creators and stars making waves in the digital media space,” said VidCon SVP of Marketing and Communications Sarah Tortoreti in a statement. “We can’t wait for everyone to come together in one place to collaborate, innovate and make connections at what we know will be the best VidCon yet!”

Creator Track

The 2022 edition of VidCon Anaheim featured a forward-thinking attitude, as creators, execs, and fans pondered emerging technologies like NFTs and short-form video ads. That theme will permeate multiple tracks at VidCon Anaheim 2023. The Industry Track will feature a theme of “Digital’s Next Era,” with blockchain-based companies like Yuga Labs represented.

Meanwhile, on the Creator Track — which will be sponsored by Kajabi — influencers will explore the growing number of monetization options in the booming creator economy. The featured creators who have been confirmed for the event will be able to share their secrets with one another while taking advantage of golden networking opportunities.

Some creators will also receive a new honor: ZHCKing Science, and Kat Blaque will design VidCon t-shirts that will be sold exclusively at the convention. There will be one apparel drop per day, with each run consisting of 150 shirts.
