TikTok’s mind-bending cake-cutting trend, where bakers with skills too terrifying to fully comprehend make cakes that look exactly like other foods and everyday objects, is becoming a Netflix reality show.
Is It Cake? will pit nine bakers against one another in an eight-episode, unscripted competition where whoever makes the most deceptive dessert will be crowned the winner.

The series will be hosted by Saturday Night Live

Its season-one contestants include Andrew Fuller, April Julian, Dessiree Salaverria, Hemu Basu, Jonny Manganello, Justin Rasmussen-Ellen, Nina Charles, Sam Cade, Steve Weiss.Bakers’ creations will be judged by a panel including “Kombucha girl” Brittany Broski, Rebecca Black, Karamo Brown, Loni Love, Michael Yo, Bobby Moynihan, Fortune Feimster, King Princess, Arturo Castro, and Heidi Gardner.
The Is It Cake? winner will bag a cash prize of $50,000.
