Kim Kardashian’s Daughter North West Entering YouTube Fray In Collab With JoJo Siwa

Nickelodeon’s super-rainbow kidfluencer JoJo Siwa has clinched the costar for her next big YouTube collab: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s five-year-old daughter, North West.

Siwa, who’s 15, rose to fame starring in the Lifetime hit Dance Moms. Nowadays, she’s establishing a reputation as a serious YouTube heavyweight — she’s got 9.3 million subscribers and counting. In December, she collaborated with a number of YouTube luminaries, including David Dobrik and Trisha Paytas.

Folks began wondering if her next collab would involve the Kardashian clan when Kim tweeted Siwa in February, saying North loved the bow Siwa had sent her (from Siwa’s product line of big and bright hair bows, which she herself seems to be sporting in perpetuity).

Kardashian subsequently tweeted that North and Siwa had chatted via FaceTime.

And now the two are planning a full-fledged YouTube collab. At the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards this past weekend, Siwa told E! News the pair have already decided to film at her house.

“It’s gonna be incredible,” she said. “North West hasn’t really been on the internet before and no one has really met her personally yet, so it’s going to be really, really fun. Kim says she’s super excited, so I’m excited.”

As Siwa pointed out, North doesn’t yet have her own social media channels, which has apparently been a point of contention between Kardashian and West. Siwa also added that collaborating with North mostly involves arranging things with Kim, who does have a YouTube channel (1.4 million subscribers) and has participated in multiple collabs, mostly with beauty stars like Kandee Johnson to promote her company KKW Beauty. (By the by, Kardashian also has the sixth most-followed Instagram account in the world, with a whopping 132.5 million followers.)

As for what exactly the video will be, Siwa was closemouthed, just saying viewers should “expect something cool.”
