Brazilian pop star Anitta and Swedish DJ-producer Alesso, both of whom are repped by Shots Studios, have collaborated on a song called “Is That For Me“ that’s clocking a staggering amount of YouTube views — to the tune of more than 10 million hits in just three days.
The music video for “Is That For Me” bowed on Friday, and the duo also performed the single at Ultra Festival on Saturday. It currently sits atop the Spotify charts in Brazil, where Anitta’s career launched after she performed at the Rio Olympics opening ceremony in 2016.
“Is That For Me” is Anitta’s second English-language song following “Will I See You,” which the 24-year-old launched alongside Poo Bear — another Shots artist — last month. (Poo Bear also collaborated with Shots’ Rudy Mancuso on his debut single, “Black & White,” earlier this month). “This video was so much fun to make,” Anitta said of travelling to the Amazon to create the clip. “The jungle is a tough place to film, but we have a great team who helped make it happen.”
