YouTube Star Melissa Maker Of Clean My Space Roars Up Amazon Charts With First Book

The latest YouTube star making hay on the Amazon book charts is Melissa Maker. Maker, the 34-year-old home improvement guru behind the Clean My Space channel, has seen strong pre-sale figures for her first literary offering, which shares its name with her channel.

On her channel, Maker applies the skills she learned during her career in the housekeeping industry in order to help her viewers improve the arrangement of their homes. Whether she’s sharing cleaning tips, lifehacks, or handy DIY projects, she maintains a clear tone and positive outlook, and she has found an audience as a result; the Clean My Space channel currently has close to 600,000 subscribers and more than 88 million views.

The Clean My Space book organizes some of Maker’s most important tips. Chief among those pointers is her three-step process for home improvement projects, through which she teaches her readers to identify problems, choose the right tools for each job, and implement the appropriate solutions.

Melissa Maker. Moving and shaking.

After keeping the Clean My Space book a secret, Maker revealed it in a video on her channel. The result was an immediate success; at the time of this post, her literary effort is second on Amazon’s “Movers & Shakers” chart, and it currently ranks as the most popular home improvement title on the site. If you’d like to pre-order your own copy, it will run you $22; the book is expected to be released on March 7th.
