Marquese Scott, Chachi Gonzales Share Their Passions In Boost Mobile Branded Campaign

A new brand campaign is hoping to highlight the passions of the creators it features in exchange for their influence. The campaign, titled “We Are Where You At,” is run by phone company Boost Mobile and social media agency Epic Signal, and its participants include top YouTube stars like Marquese Scott, Grayson “The Professor” Boucher, and Chachi Gonzales.

The campaign, whose name references a popular series of Boost Mobile commercials from last decade, is based around the idea that Boost can help its customers cultivate and share their passions. In the videos released by the featured creators, Boost’s network a pivotal role. Scott, for example, uses it to find the inspiration for his next dance.

The participating creators were also invited to appear in a Boost Mobile commercial, which was accompanied by a 360-degree website. The creators documented their experiences within the campaign through vlog videos posted by Boost.

Epic Signal Founder and EVP Brendan Gahan discussed Boost’s digital media strategy in an email to Tubefilter:

“They’ve always been a smart brand, maintaining and building credibility by working with the right influencers – whether that’s within action sports or music. By working with YouTubers and integrating them into this campaign, they’ve done the natural evolution of the influencer marketing they were doing in the the pre-social media era. Boost Mobile didn’t simply pay for branded content – they made influencers a part of the campaign, from the TV spot to the immersive website. Across social, these guys are woven in throughout and documenting it all for their fans.”

Beyond the We Are Where You At videos that have already been released, several more — including Gonzales’ contribution — will arrive in the coming days.
