Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry Rebrands With New Shows, New Logo

Since its launch in 2012, the Geek & Sundry network has gathered 1.3 million subscribers, scored 200 million views, and emerged as a gathering places for geeks of all shapes and sizes. Now, Felicia Day’s nerd-culture nexus is moving in new directions, while still keeping itself centered around its primary focus. It has announced a rebrand that includes at least two new shows and a brand new logo.

The two shows included in Geek & Sundry’s rebranding effort are Super Fun Awesome Party Game (premiering March 3rd), and Signal Boost (premiering March 15th). The former series will star Jesse Cox and Jessica Marzipan, who will reimagine children’s games with new twists. Twister, for example, will receive an update revolving around chocolate syrup. Cox, given his history with games, will probably be bad at that one, too.

Signal Boost, on the other hand, will feature an ever-changing list

of hosts, who will present news items from the Internet and technology spheres. It will also include a section about crowdfunding campaigns, which sounds like a good idea to us.

“I’m so excited to see Geek & Sundry evolving into a broader, more comprehensive brand, while still retaining our core indie geek spirit,” said Day in a press release. “We represent so many niche interests in the gaming and geek world, and I’m thrilled to level up with a new redesign that reflects that.”

The redesign Day speaks of includes a new logo that appears slightly more stylish than Geek & Sundry’s previous emblem. The network displayed its new look in the best way possible — by printing it onto a pancake.

Geek & Sundry is owned by Legendary, which acquired it in August 2014.
