MiTu To Bring Latino Content To AOL’s Digital Platforms

With billions of views and a bustling video network spanning several verticals, MiTu has established itself as the most prominent multi-channel YouTube network dedicated to Latino content. The network’s latest deal will expand its presence off of YouTube as well. MiTu has teamed up with AOL in a deal that will bring the former’s content to the latter’s platforms.

The agreement will bring MiTu content in both English and Spanish to several online destinations, including AOL On, The Huffington Post, and Voces, AOL’s Hispanic content hub. “This deal allows us to provide AOL, one of the world’s strongest and most recognizable digital platforms for news, entertainment and sports, compelling video content geared towards the Latino community,” said MiTu partner Roy Burstin. “We

believe that this relationship helps to better serve today’s exploding Hispanic audiences who have demonstrated a passionate appetite for MiTu’s English and Spanish language, culturally relevant video content.”

In addition to AOL, MiTu will continue to distribute on both YouTube and Univision’s digital properties.

In addition to a wider distribution network, MiTu will be able to work with AOL’s ad network, which has been the most-viewed in the US (according to Comscore) since the acquisition of Adap.tv last September. AOL, meanwhile, gains better access to one of the fastest-growing demographics in the US. Everybody wins.
