A Christmas fire is sure delightful, but how many of us have actual fireplaces at our disposal? More importantly, why run the risk of burning Santa to a crisp when YouTube has provided some perfectly passable digital Yule logs? A few top channels have offered long videos of burning fires capable of warming up your spirit, if not your room.
Some YouTube Yule logs are fairly traditional. Nerdist has allowed its logo to roast for an hour, while other channels have added some background carols for a little extra seasonal flavor.
But YouTube is full of nerds, and some of them have come out in full force. Periodic Videos‘ Yule log is probably the coolest one thanks to all sorts of funky colors, but in terms of sheer dorkiness, nothing beats ASAPScience’s fire made up of chemical symbols.
But forget all of those Yule logs, because they don’t have Lil Bub. There’s no question that YouTube’s cutest cat takes the cake when it comes to YouTube Yule logs.
If you fire that one up, make yourself a mug of hot cocoa, and put on a warm sweater, there’s no question you’ll have a joyful Christmas.
