Through Creators Like Strawburry17, Stylehaul Branches Out

The Stylehaul network is best known for its roster of fashion-forward creators, but its latest addition doesn’t just tell her fans what to wear. As a vlogger, gamer, chef, actress, and world traveller, YouTuber Strawburry17 (real name Meghan Camarena) will bring a diverse array of videos to her new network.

Camarena’s channel is home to a number of distinct weekly series. She releases cosplay and sketch videos on Mondays, plays Minecraft on Tuesdays, cooks super nerdy eats on Wednesdays, challenges her fellow YouTubers to video games on Thursdays, and provides fashion/beauty/lifestyle tips on Fridays. She is also known for her friendship with Joey Graceffa; together, they competed on the most recent season of The Amazing Race, where they proved YouTubers can in fact survive without their computers by finishing a respectable fifth.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Meghan to the StyleHaul community,” said the network’s founder, Stephanie Horbaczewski. “Meghan’s videos, which are always so unique and creative, span style, lifestyle and gaming making Meghan a great addition to the StyleHaul community, while bringing something new and fresh to the table. We’re looking forward to what Meghan and StyleHaul will accomplish together!”

Camarena is an interesting addition for Stylehaul; though she posts plenty of fashion videos, her channel is not as singularly focused as many of the network’s other creators. By partnering with her, Stylehaul is telegraphing an expansion of its brand aimed at young women (who happen to be interested in fashion). We’ve often compared StyleHaul to Machinima, and the comparison is applicable here as well; the top gaming network has recently been upfront about its plan to corral the eyeballs of all young men, not just those who play video games, and Stylehaul’s strategy will do the same for young women. It’s no longer a fashion network–it’s a network of fabulous people.
