With the final season of Breaking Bad in full swing, Aaron Paul has been in the spotlight. The 33 year old actor, who plays Jesse Pinkman on the acclaimed AMC drama, took the opportunity to host a Reddit IamA, where he answered questions about his life, promoted his work with the charitable Kind Campaign, and spent most of his time calling people “bitch.” In a recent video on Nerdist, Paul has taken his profane shtick to the next level by presenting ‘The Bitchies‘, a group of awards for his favorite Reddit commenters.
For those of you who don’t watch Breaking Bad, Paul isn’t calling his fans ‘bitches’ because he’s an asshole. Rather, he’s just staying in character as Pinkman, who throws the b-word around every chance he gets. While presenting the Bitchies, he is similarly profane, though he makes sure to spare some kind words for the commenter who asks about the Kind Campaign, calling him “not a bitch.”
Paul presented the video to the Breaking Bad subreddit himself, where he admitted, “I haven’t figured out what the actual award should like yet but if you guys have any ideas, I’d love to see them. I’ll print out my favorite one, sign it, and send it to you. Yeah, reddit bitch!”
Nerdist also launched a blog post of its own where it threw its support behind the Kind Campaign, which seeks to end girl-on-girl bullying in schools. Paul previously appeared on the channel during an episode of All-Star Celebrity Bowling, but only this time did it sink in how much he looks like Chris Hardwick. I wonder if they’re long lost brothers.
