When we last heard from Hannah Hart, YouTube’s in-house drunk chef, she had just released a song as she disembarked on her worldwide Hello, Harto tour. Hart is now multiple cities in, and the amount of content she releases every week has been quite a feat.
Her weekly Hello, Harto tour show is a treat. Each short video does contain local flavor from whatever city Hart and her crew happen to be visiting at the time, but the most impressive part of each episode are the strong narratives that she establishes, heightened, and resolved all in the space of three or four minutes.
The real tourism comes on Hart’s secondary channel, YourHarto, where we get some legit looks at her scenic all-American (and Canadian) tour. She is averaging about four or five auxiliary vlogs a week, making her’s an almost daily update schedule a la Shaycarl
or her pal DailyGrace.Of course, the main attraction is still My Drunk Kitchen, which is seeing weekly releases even throughout the road trip. Hart’s liver is probably crying out, at the more-than-once-weekly heavy drinking episodes, but I’d bet her full stomach feels exactly the opposite. Check out the latest installment, set in Portland and thus appropriately crunchy and organic.
Even if you’re not a fan of My Drunk Kitchen, the Hello, Harto vlogs add another layer to Hart’s YouTube personality. It was about time she branched out, and hitting the road seems to be the perfect way to do it.
