Maker Studios Wants To Develop Your Series, Give You Money

The Producers Guild of America holds its Produced By conference every June, and one part of the annual event is the PGA ProShow, where aspiring creators have the chance to earn a TV development deal. This year, the PGA is branching out: one additional lucky winner will receive a online development deal with Maker Studios, with $5,000 in spendin’ money also up for grabs.

In addition to raking in a distribution deal and Internet monies, the winner will also receive promotional aid at the Produced By conference, which begins on June 8th and will feature a number of cool industry people

.

Maker is most interested in series with a built-in audience and a strong marketing bent, so if that description matches the script you’ve kept in stasis for the last few weeks/months/years/decades/epochs, it would behoove you to sign up by completing the application form here. The deadline has been extended one week to April 19th, so you still have time to reach for the online video stars. Good luck!
