Smosh Games, Now Six Months Old, Crosses 200 Million Views

Smosh Games, the YouTube gaming collaboration between Ian Hecox, Anthony Padilla, and ClevverGames correspondents Jovenshire, Lasercorn, and Sohinki, has celebrated its six month anniversary in style. The channel continues to reach new heights, as it has broken 200 million views and has become one of the top 100 most subscribed YouTube channels.

Smosh Games now has more than 1.8 million subscribers, putting it in 91st place on the YouTube leaderboard. Judging by its current rate of growth, Smosh Games will soon become the fastest channel to two million subs, continuing the pace it set when it first hit seven digits. “It’s crazy!” said Jovenshire of the channel. “Just last year we were just some random guys playing video games on the internet. Now we have an army of fans and over 200 million views! It’s been one crazy ride and this is just the beginning.”

The channel continues to serve up top notch content, as Lasercorn has become the most recent online reviewer

to offer up his feelings on Bioshock Infinite.

”We promised our audience dynamic programming around gaming–served up Smosh style–and the metrics prove we’ve succeeded,” commented Michael Palmer, SVP of Alloy Digital. “The record growth of our channel is testament to our team’s 24-7 dedication for delivering fresh content daily and the extreme enthusiasm they share with our gaming obsessed audience. It also speaks volumes to the promotional power of Alloy Digital, that helped SMOSH Games instantly propel up the ranks by leveraging its connection to its audience across its other owned YouTube channels, websites, and social platforms.” Smosh Games’ current pace suggests that when it celebrates its first birthday six months from now, we will have received a double order of Smosh style gaming.
