CollegeHumor’s ‘Dora The Explorer’ Parody Is Becoming A Full Series

CollegeHumor, now close to four million subscribers, is turning one of its 30 million one-off shorts (give or take) into a full web show. The comedy channel will turn its ridiculous parody of Dora the Explorer into a mock action series. Hola mis amigos, indeed.

The Dora the Explorer Miniseries will star Modern Family’s Ariel Winter as the titular adventurer, a world class thief (she prefers the term “explorer”) who helps the authorities capture her evasive nemesis, Swiper. Along the way, she will kick ass, take names, and teach plenty of important Spanish phrases. Me gusta!

The first episode of Dora arrives on March 19th. As long as CollegeHumor is now listening to fan requests, I would love to see this Seth MacFarlane gag built out into a full series. Of course, I would gladly give that up if it meant more Badman.

For now, we just have Dora, which is exciting enough. It’s about to take ‘edutainment’ to a whole different level.
