Isaac Newton Announces New Episodes of ‘Epic Rap Battles of History’

Epic Rap Battles of History ended 2012 on a particularly high note, with special guest Snoop Dogg and/or Lion playing the role of a Moses with mad game to take on NicePeter’s spittin’ Santa Claus and EpicLloyd’s angry elves. The episode has so far accumulated over 26 million views, adding to the almost 400 million views and over 2.7 million subscribers the ERB channel has accumulated since Peter and Lloyd spinned it off onto its own URL back in November 2011

.

Now, those view counts and subscriber numbers are slated for a dramatic uptick as Sir Isaac Newton recently announced no less than six more episodes of ERB’s Season 2 are in the works.

The mathematician, philosopher, and target for falling apples made it known on an installment of ERB News that Epic Rap Battles of History’s sophomore season will resume on February 11, with two new battles released every month until the Season Finale airs on April 22.

As always, viewers are encouraged to submit their suggestions of which two or more famous individuals from our planet’s past or pop culture should face off in a battle of sly rhyming words set to sick beats. I’m waiting for a Spock vs. Nostradamus battle, but will settle to see Joan of Arc go up against Lara Croft.
