Tim Chantarangsu AKA Traphik AKA Timothy de la Ghetto goes by many aliases, and one of his lesser noms de plume is beginning to shine on its own. One of the recurring segments on Tim’s channel (the 64th most subscribed on YouTube) is Chunk Dirty, a feature starring a pair of comically bad rappers, Chunk (played by iBeShucks) and Dirty (played by de la Ghetto). The Chunk Dirty duo has achieved enough cred to to hang with rap legends thanks to Timothy de la Ghetto’s association with Maker Studios. Now, they are continuing to break out by starring their own web series, Booty Hunters.
Booty Hunters follows the exploits of Chunk and Dirty as they attempt to find “big-booty bitches” to appear in their debut music video. Of course, seeing as how they are utterly incompetent, this turns out to be a Herculean task; as part of their recruitment drive, the rapping duo staples flyers in inappropriate places, sizes up ladies on the street, and pretends to know Trey Songz
. Suffice to say, if the first episode is any indicator, they are not having much success. To go along with the new web series, iBeShucks (who has a decent subscriber count in his own right) has released ‘Booty Taste‘, the music video Chunk and Dirty are trying to shoot in Booty Hunters. If anything, it’s most reminiscent of another parody rap song, Alpa Chino’s ‘I Love Tha Pussy’ from the opening of Tropic Thunder. Given the number of booties involved in Chunk Dirty’s video, we should expect a stark reversal of fortune in the next few episodes. Until more is available, I’ll be in my car with the windows rolled down, blasting ‘Booty Taste’ for the whole world.
