New ‘Closet Rich’ Series Has Fashionable Celebs Giving Back

When we last checked in on The Stylish, the premium YouTube channel launched by the Magical Elves production studio was training an eye on the Internet’s most fashionable celebrities with In Focus. Now, a new series is continuing that trend while also adding in a little philanthropy. The Stylish has launched Closet Rich, a series that deftly blends fashion, reality TV, and charity.

In each episode of Closet Rich, host Elizabeth Kott visits a particularly style-conscious showbiz notable with the sole intention of raiding her closet. After an indulgent look at everything the celeb’s wardrobe has to offer, a few items are chosen to be offered on eBay, with the proceeds going to a charity of the celeb’s choice. Check out the first episode, featuring The Voice star Vicci Martinez:

As several commenters have noted, Martinez doesn’t have the most exciting wardrobe; most of her items are black or white, and she decides to hang on to the colorful flannel shirt she owns. Still, the good vibes generated from a show based around charity cannot be denied. Thus far, the four items offered up on eBay are over $100 combined (and rising fast). The MusiCares charity is about to get a bit richer.

Since the release of In Focus in mid-October, The Stylish has seen a notable increase in traffic, and has nearly tripled its subscriber count, with each new web series triggering a large influx of viewers. Magical Elves (which also produces Top Chef and Project Runway) has to be pleased with the growth of its original content hub.
