‘Sh*t Girls Say’ Team Goes Inside The Construction Of Their Book

A few months ago, the duo behind the Shit Girls Say channel and Twitter feed released a  book, giving every lady in the world the first gift for her twinsies. Creators Graydon Sheppard and Kyle Humphrey have now released the fifth video on the Shit Girls Say channel, taking viewers inside the construction of their most recent endeavor.

Each entry in the book consists of a saying from the book superimposed on a relevant image. This would be easy to accomplish with any computer graphics program, but Sheppard and Humphrey took the time to create each entry by hand. Whether this meant writing on a cake, attaching a saying to a dog collar, or wearing a sentence on the forehead while in full drag, the creative pair gave their fullest effort and published a book that was made by hand, which should excite people who care about that sort of thing

The behind the scenes video is only the fifth entry posted to the Shit Girls Say channel, but the other four have averaged around eight million views. What’s amazing to me is how old the joke feels. Amazingly, the first Shit Girls Say video was posted just eleven months ago. It feels like it’s been forever since we were scouring the Internet and choosing our favorite Shit ____ Say variations.

Since the Shit My Dad Says book paved the way for Twitter-to-print adaptations, both Shit Girls Say and Humblebrag have continued to trend. If serial content becoming books will be a regular thing, I can’t wait for the Pronunciation Manual book. Please?
