Here’s the deal, the top nominated entry in each award category will automatically be one of the finalists. So yes, you’re helping out your favorite show/host/actor/writer/composer even if they have already been nominated. And don’t worry if your favorite series doesn’t have a ba-gillion teeming fans yet, the remaining finalists in each category will be selected from the nominations by the newly formed International Academy of Web Television, made up of some of the top creators and pioneers in web television. (More on the Academy, including membership is coming soon).
For the Audience Choice Award—which is entirely picked by the public—voting on the final five will begin February 15th. So get nominating and tell your friends! Nominations close this Friday January 23 at 11:59 PM (PST).
