Welcome to our rundown of the most-watched branded YouTube videos of the week.
We’re publishing this snippet of a larger Gospel Stats Weekly Brand Report in order to analyze sponsorship trends in the creator economy. Any video launched in tandem with an official brand partner is eligible for the ranking.
And – as the name up above would imply – all the data comes from Gospel Stats. If you’re interested in learning more about Gospel – and which brands are sponsoring what creators on YouTube – click here. You can also download our YouTube 2025 Sponsorship Landscape Report here.

The FIFA fever hasn’t quite passed, but this week we’ve only got one World Cup video in the Gospel Stats Brand Report. The rest of our top 5 is business as usual, with Salish Matter and her skincare company, Dr Insanity and his true crime, and Kinigra Deon swinging in for a little back-to-school at Kohl’s.
What we’re really intrigued by this week, however, is our bonus videos–both of which are about Call of Duty Mobile and are right next to each other in spots #3,340 and #3,341, but are from different creators sponsored by different companies. Cool!
Check it all out below.
#1 Meeting My Dads TWIN For The First Time
Channel: Jordan Matter (and Salish Matter)
Brand: Sincerely Yours
Views: 13,358,169
Salish Matter is shopping for a new dad. And though her video’s title and thumbnail might be clickbaiting, we’re not.
For this latest #1 video from the Matters, Salish’s dad Jordan is in France, and challenges her to find a dude who can stand in for him. But, he says, he’s leaving big shoes to fill…so whichever of the 15 contestants she picks better be ready to be the dad who steps up.
This 34-minute upload is standard Matter fare with some Sidemen-style flare. Filmed in a white cyc studio, it follows the Matters’ established, time-limited challenge format with a bigger ensemble than usual, and has Salish putting applicants through their paces to see who can become Jordan 2.0.
The video, like much of the Matters’ content over the last few months, is sponsored by Salish’s own brand: Sephora-carried skincare line Sincerely Yours.
#2 I Hid a Soccer Field In My Room!
Channel: Zhong
Brand: FIFA
Views: 12,383,072
For the second week in a row, Zhong is clocking in with a FIFA-sponsored smorgasbord of boisterous. Perhaps best known (at least lately) as the guy who made a lot of videos about the KPop Demon Hunters ladies getting pregananant, Zhong was one of numerous creators to land World Cup deals with FIFA–and with this video, it’s clear the org let partnered creators be, well, creative.
Unlike last week’s short uploads, this Zhong video is a full-length VOD where he tears through various World Cup games around the globe looking for things he can add to a “secret” soccer field he built in his house. The plan: fill that field with animals à la Puppy Bowl.
As the World Cup winds down, we’re seeing fewer FIFA videos–but we expect that next time the Cup rolls around, we’ll see even more creator partnerships. Who knows what the power of our industry will be four years from now!
#3 How Police Captured The Texas Church Assassin
Channel: Dr Insanity
Brand: PDS Debt
Views: 10,614,026
Dr Insanity has made our top 5 a few times–always with a tragic story to share. This one is about 25-year-old Chantay Blankinship, whose family lived in fear after she was murdered by an unknown assailant in their small Texas town. But, as Dr Insanity chronicles, Blankinship’s killing was about to be solved by burgeoning technology.
Parabon NanoLabs stepped in and used DNA found at the scene to do “snapshot phenotyping,” which led them to 21-year-old Ryan Riggs. He later pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
We’ve written about how putting products next to horrific crimes is a challenge, but Dr Insanity manages to land sponsors regularly. In this case, his video is brought to YouTube by PDS Debt, a debt assessment company that says it “helps you take control of your financial future.”
#4 The It Girls are fashionistas! Back-to-school style starts at Kohls. #kohlsfinds #kohlspartner
Channel: Kinigra Deon
Brand: Kohl’s
Views: 10,184,973
This video is like cracking open a time capsule from 2004. Except instead of the bratty, backstabbing Plastics of Mean Girls, Kinigra Deon‘s cast of cool girls is like, actually cool.
This Short follows Deon and her costars on a strut through the school halls. The implication is obvious: they’re the queen bees, and like Regina George, everyone wants to be them. Except when they’re stopped on the catwalk by “fellow students” who want to know where they got their outfits, Deon and co. don’t brush off their admirers.
Instead they throw out million-dollar smiles and tell them: Hey, it’s Kohl’s!
We love girls supporting girls. And also Kohl’s supporting girls. The clothing outlet paid for a total of six videos this week, including #2,250 from Brianna Roman.
BONUS #3,340 and #3,341
Channel: Bobby Plays, BalorMobile
Brand: ExitLag, Call of Duty Mobile
That’s right–we have a double bonus this week, because the circumstances were too interesting to pass up.
Videos #3,340 and #3,341 this week are both sponsored content about Call of Duty Mobile, and they are just a hair’s breadth apart in terms of view count. But despite their similarity and proximity, they are made by two different creators and sponsored by two different companies.
#3,340, a long-form video from Bobby Plays, is sponsored by ExitLag, a company that aims to boost gamers’ PC performance and reduce latency. #3,341, a Short from BalorMobile, is sponsored by Call of Duty Mobile itself.
Is it pure chance the two ended up next to each other in this week’s list? Maybe…maybe not. This is an interesting case where long- and short-form view counts are nearly identical, showing similar interest in Call of Duty‘s new update across formats–and similar interest in the content regardless of sponsor.
…and there’s a lot more data where that came from. If you like our Weekly Top 5, you’ll love everything else Gospel has to offer. Start with our newly released YouTube 2025 Sponsorship Landscape Report, wfrom hich you can download right here.
