Twitch puts $300,000 up for grabs with three-week Roblox festival

If you’re a fan of Steal a Brainrot or Grow a Garden, prepare yourself for three weeks of “nonstop Roblox activations” on Twitch. Between February 5 and February 27, the Amazon-owned streaming hub will host Bloxfest, which will feature a star-studded lineup of Roblox creators and a $300,000 prize pool.

During Bloxfest, Roblox players will be able to claim in-game rewards, special badges, and an exclusive “RobloxCheer” emote for Twitch chat. Twitch will use its social channels to inform users about the timing for these perks and the eligibility requirements needed to claim them.

For streamers, Bloxfest will look a little different. The event is the next chapter in the Twitch Rivals series, which pits streamers against one another in popular games like Fortnite. To translate that model to the Roblox world, Twitch will conclude Bloxfest with a “Grand Finale” contested by teams led by all-star captains.

To qualify for that two-day gauntlet, streamers must rack up “points” during the initial phase of Bloxfest. By streaming daily and completing special challenges, streamers can climb a virtual leaderboard and put themselves in position to take part in the grand finale.

Participants who make it that far will get the chance to collaborate with some of the biggest names in Roblox content. NicoBlox, IBella, iBugou, ElAbrahaham, robinhoodgamer, CherryAhrizona, KreekCraft, and Lanaraee will be the eight captains who will assemble squads from among 64 qualifiers.

Though other sandbox-style games like Hytale and Grand Theft Auto VI are threatening to upstage Roblox in 2026, the 20-year-old title still holds an edge over its competition. Improvements to Roblox’s creator rewards system pushed associated annual payouts past the $1 billion mark in 2025, and the platform’s community is so plugged-in that Roblox has become a must-buy for many advertisers.

Bloxfest pays hompage to those passionate players. “We see you, Roblox fans,” reads a Twitch blog post. “Millions of people play and watch Roblox every day, and we’re excited to invite you to be a part of an unmissable event for viewers and streamers all month long, exclusively on Twitch.”

Streamers will be able to accumulate points between February 5 and February 23, with the grand finale beginning on February 26. Before any of that happens, interested creators must check their eligibility for the event. Applications are open until February 2 via this link.
