Anthony Padilla’s production company just signed Caroline Klidonas for a six-figure YouTube development deal

Anthony Padilla‘s Pressalike Productions has signed actor, writer, and burgeoning content creator Caroline Klidonas for a six-figure YouTube development deal.

Per The Wrap, Pressalike’s investment is intended to help Klidonas become a full-time creator, providing her with both working capital to make YouTube videos and with content strategy development from the Pressalike team.

Klidonas, who’s worked in Hollywood both on and off camera, has been posting to TikTok since 2020, and has amassed nearly 400,000 followers with short satirical skits that dig into popular movie genres like romance and sci-fi. Over on YouTube, she’s got just shy of 4,000 subscribers. She began posting compilations of her TikTok videos there in December 2022, including collections of installments for her two main ongoing series: The Rune (sci-fi/fantasy) and Dog Park Rom-Com (self-explanatory).

“I’m blown away by the sheer creativity and passion that Caroline puts into bringing her ideas to live,” Padilla said in a statement. “Her vigor and craftiness remind me of a golden age on the Internet when creators created because they simply couldn’t hold their ideas in any longer.”

He added, “I’m excited to do my part in helping this extremely talented creative explore where these ideas will take her when she has additional resources and guidance, with our first goal being to bridge the gap to longer platforms, like YouTube and beyond.”

“I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off of the floor after my first meetings with them,” Klidonas said in her own statement, referring to Padilla and Pressalike’s COO Alessandra Catanese. “They’ve built a team of experts who know how to make content that is not only successful, but authentic and sustainable to the creator at the heart of it.”

Padilla and Catanese will work directly with Klidonas, along with Kathy Sue Holtorf covering production services and Mallory Myers (Pressalike’s manager & producer of social media) on social media and distribution.

Klidonas is repped by Kevin Herrera at TheMachine for creator management and sponsorship operations, Scott Hervey at Weintraub/Tobin for legal, and Rob D’Avola at Rob D’Avola & Associates for film and television acting.
