Bella Poarch is modeling Cash App’s clothing line and giving away $100K in Bitcoin

Bella Poarch, who has 89 million TikTok followers, has unlocked yet another brand ambassador gig. The 25-year-old Filipino-American musician is the new face of Cash App, and she’s giving away $100,000 in Bitcoin to celebrate.

Poarch announced the giveaway through her Twitter and Instagram accounts. The only requirement for entry is an active “$cashtag” on Cash App. If you share that info with the financial company on social media before April 20 and use the hashtag #bitcoinbella, you’ll be eligible for a $20 piece of the six-figure prize pool. As Poarch reminded her fans on Instagram, the contest is “void where proh. No purch nec.”

If you’re wondering what a significant sum of cryptocurrency has to do with Venmo’s rival, keep in mind that Cash App is an ardent supporter of Bitcoin and lets its users buy and sell the commodity with just a few taps. Apparently, Poarch’s partnership with Cash App got her some skin in the crypto game. “After I won some Bitcoin at the Cash App PayDay event last year, it introduced me to this exciting new world of digital currencies,” she said in a statement. “That’s the beauty of this relationship between Cash App and I — we’re here to be a part of each others’ worlds. I’m super excited to be their newest ambassador. We have a lot of exciting things in the works!”

One of those exciting things involves Cash App’s clothing line. Yes, you read that right — the company that lets you pay your friends for that group dinner is also fashion-forward. In the image above, Poarch is modeling a poncho from the Future Nature collection, which features the latest additions to the Cash by Cash App line.

For Poarch, neither a brand ambassador gig nor a cryptocurrency venture is a new experience. The TikTok star previously linked up with HP to highlight the tech brand’s gaming gear, and she was also included in TikTok’s first official NFT collection. Her deal with Cash App is new, but she’s not the only influencer who is endorsing a company in the field of personal finance. Charli D’Amelio is both a spokesperson for and an investor in Step, which is catering to Gen Z with its credit card business.

But will Charli D’Amelio give you free Bitcoin? Not yet. If you want to try and claim a piece of Poarch’s cryptocurrency fortune, you’ll want to read the terms and conditions before entering the giveaway.
